Following the release of its 12-port Thunderbolt 4 dock in June, Anker is now rolling out a new addition to the PowerExpand range, the PowerExpand 9-in-1 USB-C PD Dock. It keeps a slimmer profile than Anker’s beefier docks in the range, some with a 12 and 13 ports.

The nine ports give you a lot of options for rearranging your devices and work habits. And they come with 60W of charging output for your MacBook or other laptop via a USB-C upstream port and 20W of power to charge your iPad and iPhone via a USB-C power delivery port.
Anker said the dock can fully charge an iPhone 12 — while other devices are charging — in an hour and 51 minutes.
Anker PowerExpand 9-in-1 USB-C PD Dock
Anker’s new dock carries a design similiar to its recently release Thunderbolt 4 docks, though its connectivity relies mainly, but not entirely, on the near-ubiquitous USB-C port.
The dock, in a tough, gray metal casing, supports Macs and all sorts of other devices. It also offers 5GB/s passthrough charging and high-speed file transfer.
60W USB-C output and other ports
A major feature of the dock is its 60W USB-C output, which allows it to recharge most devices. Ports in addition to two USB-C ports include Gigabit Ethernet and three USB-A slots, plus a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Display outputs
With the Anker PowerExpand 9-in-1 USB-C PD Dock, your display options include a 4K HDMI slot and a DisplayPort slot. If you have a Mac with an M1 chip, you can use one of those at a time to extend to one other display. If you have an Intel-powered Mac, you can use two external monitors if you use mirrored visuals. With PCs, you have more options.
The new dock is available for $149.99.
