Apple Watch pricing today fell in the United Kingdom as the Series 7 refresh was made available to preorder. The newest models, which start at £369 as opposed to £379, are more affordable than Apple Watch Series 6 was last year.

Apple Watch SE has also seen price cuts.

Apple Watch now more affordable in UK

Apple has been known to make pricing adjustments based on foreign exchange rates. They most commonly affect App Store pricing, but every so often, those in other territories see cuts and increases on Apple hardware, too.

Last month, iPhone 13 made its debut in the U.K. with more affordable price tags, and now similar cuts have been extended to Apple Watch. Both Series 7 and Apple Watch SE models are available for less than they were before.

Apple Watch 7 starts at £369 (down from £379) for a 41mm aluminum model, while 45mm devices start at £399 (down from £499). Apple Watch SE is down to £249 (from £269) for a 40mm device, and £279 (from £299) for a 44mm.

It seems the changes haven’t yet extended to all third-party retailers, with the likes or Argos and Currys still charging the old prices. So, if you’re picking up an Apple Watch in the U.K. sometime soon, be careful about where you buy it.

Series 7 availability isn’t good

Sadly, the good news ends when it comes to Apple Watch 7 availability. It seems Apple was particularly low on stock for the U.K. this time around, with many models facing lengthy delays less than 30 minutes after preorders opened.

Shipping dates have also started slipping in other markets, including the U.S., with some configurations now unavailable until November.
