Good for Intel-based Macs
The formidable array of ports include a 90W Thunderbolt 4 port. It’s good for juicing up any Intel-chip-powered MacBook model and compatible with macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later. As far as M1-powered Macs go, maybe next time.
The port roundup
The Apex can connect a variety of devices and peripherals thanks to a Thunderbolt 4 upstream port, a Thunderbolt 4 downstream port, a USB-C Power Delivery port, two HDMI ports, an Ethernet port, an SD card slot, a 3.5 mm AUX port, and four USB-A ports.
Display support
Compatible with USB4, DisplayPort and PCI Express specs, the dock can handle a single 8K display at 30Hz, a 4K display at 120Hz, or various other display combinations at 4K 60Hz.
It can power up to three external monitors simultaneously, though only for Intel-powered Mac or Windows devices.
In the package: Anker Apex Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station, 120W power adapter, 1.2m power cord, 0.7m Thunderbolt 4 cable, and welcome and quick-start guides. It retails for $299.99
